We all agree that it's tough to stay in shape while we are traveling the world. You're in new environments, different time zones, and lack access to the comforts of home. But if you swear by some easy tips, you can travel while staying fit, healthy and happy at the same time.

Begin your day with a heavy and healthy breakfast: The best part is that a lot of hotels include breakfast. A big healthy breakfast is what fuels your energy for the rest of the day and gets your metabolism pumping. Drink lots of water: Staying hydrated is very important while you are travelling. People don't realise it but tend to drink less water unless they are hiking or running.

Take the stairs: You will always find stairs in your hotel or the famous monument that you are visiting. This is a very effective workout for both cardio and strength and it is an easy way to achieve your fitness goals as it can be done both inside and outside.

Basic workout: Make a set of basic workouts according to your fitness goal. These exercises should be done in your hotel room and do not need any equipment. A few go-to's are squats, running in Place, jumping jacks, mountain Climbers, lunges, burpees, planks, push-ups, sit ups, etc.

Opt for healthy meals: When choosing meals or snacks, make sure the foods you pick are full of protein and fiber. Also, you can carry some non-perishable food products with you. Dry fruits are one of the good options to opt for.
